Meet the Farley Family

Whimsy Tents began with a simple belief: childhood should be filled with wonder, celebration, and a little bit of magic.

That belief started with the Savage family. Founder Kristen Savage created Whimsy Tents after becoming a mom and seeing the world begin to sparkle differently. First words, first steps, birthdays, sleepovers — suddenly, all of those little moments felt worthy of celebrating. From that love of creating warm, joyful spaces for families, Whimsy Tents was born.

Years later, that story found its way to our family.

We’re Kevin and Liz Farley, and together with our four kids, we are incredibly excited and honored to continue what the Savage family created.

As parents ourselves, we know how quickly childhood moves. The birthdays come and go. The kids get a little taller. The things they love change. And somehow, the moments that seemed ordinary at the time become the memories you wish you could step back into for just one more night.

That is what makes Whimsy Tents so special to us.

We want to create those nights.

The sleepover where nobody actually sleeps. The birthday they talk about for years. The backyard picnic covered in laughter. The tent filled with twinkle lights that makes a child walk into the room and stop in their tracks.

We want our own children to grow up surrounded by those moments, and we feel incredibly fortunate that Whimsy Tents gives us the opportunity to create them for other families, too.

The Savage family built something wonderful, and we are grateful they trusted our family to carry it forward. While there is a new family behind Whimsy Tents, the heart of it remains the same:

Celebrate childhood. Create wonder. Make memories. And never outgrow a little bit of whimsy.
